Araghchi: Iran-Saudi talks ongoing, no foreign military presence
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a post on X that Tehran's dialogue with Saudi Arabia is continuing and that Iran has no hostility toward Gulf Cooperation Council states, according to Middle East Eye and IRNA. He said Iran appreciates the positive role of Qatar and Oman and seeks new regional security arrangements led by regional countries, away from foreign military presence. Separately, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman discussed regional and international developments with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and defense cooperation with his Japanese and Australian counterparts, Iranian media reported.
