Iran security chief and Putin reaffirm strategic cooperation
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing strategic cooperation under a roadmap set by the two countries' leaders, Iranian state media reported. Middle East Eye, citing the state-run IRNA news agency, said the call addressed what it described as the US-Israel war on Iran. Separately, IRNA reported that Rajab Safarov, head of the Russian-Iranian Council for Trade Relations, called for expanded economic, political and security cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.
