Iran reports strikes on Qeshm as Qatar says talks continue

Tasnim news agency said initial reports indicated two missiles struck Qeshm Island and that there was no official information on possible damage, adding that further details would be released once authorities confirmed the incident. State news agency IRNA had earlier reported that local witnesses said two projectiles struck the Suza area of the island after the sound of an aircraft was heard overhead. The Iranian military claims about downed drones have not been independently verified.

Qatar's International Media Office denied circulating reports that the United States and Iran had failed to reach an agreement to end their war, describing the allegations as false and misleading. It said the Qatari prime minister had affirmed that both sides continue to work toward an agreement, and that Qatar's mediation efforts are ongoing in close coordination with Washington and Tehran.
