Tanker hit by projectiles near Qatar; IRGC reports Hormuz fires
Britain's UK Maritime Trade Operations said two unidentified projectiles struck a tanker about 50 nautical miles north of Al-Shamal, Qatar, with crew status and damage still being assessed. The IRGC separately claimed that fires broke out on two large tankers and a tugboat in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Radio Zamaneh. One Iranian business daily placed the incident off Qatar in the Strait of Hormuz, while UKMTO reported the location as north of Al-Shamal.
