Progressive Democrats push to end Iran war after midterm wins
After winning majorities in both chambers of Congress, progressive Democrats said ending the war in Iran is among their priorities, along with curbing AI and corporate money in politics. Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Greg Casar said moderate candidates campaigned on ending forever wars, and Rep. Pramila Jayapal said progressives were first to oppose the war in Iran.
