Hegseth impeachment push cites role in urging attack on Iran
After Republican midterm defeats, some US lawmakers accused War Secretary Pete Hegseth of playing a central role in persuading President Donald Trump to attack Iran and are seeking his impeachment, Khabar Online reported. Trump denied considering firing Hegseth after a CBS News report, and a Pentagon spokesperson said he would remain in his post through Trump's term, according to ISNA and Antiwar News.
