Grossi says Iran has no nuclear weapon, Trump claims US approval
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said Iran does not possess a nuclear weapon, while maintaining that Tehran has not provided the transparency the agency seeks on some parts of its program, Iranian outlets reported. Iran’s mission in Vienna rejected the criticism, saying the NPT sets no ceiling on enrichment levels and accusing Grossi of silence over what it described as unlawful bombing of Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities. US President Donald Trump separately said Iran “cannot have” a nuclear weapon and was “not doing anything” on its program without US approval.
