Araghchi: Iran still giving diplomacy a chance amid war concerns
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran is still giving diplomacy a chance and will keep close contact with intermediaries to examine practical ideas, state media reported. A Guardian report said regional consultations were continuing to prevent renewed conflict and that Tehran would be ready to reopen the Strait of Hormuz four days after economic sanctions are lifted, while Washington is seeking nuclear concessions. Lawmaker Aladdin Boroujerdi said talks with the US depend on Iran's seven conditions being implemented.
