Reuters: Myanmar hides Iranian jet fuel imports from US sanctions
A Reuters investigation found that Myanmar's military government concealed imports of Iranian jet fuel by recording shipments as South African diesel and using fake trade documents, according to shipping records and data. The fuel has supplied commercial flights and army air strikes, the report said, and the trade has continued despite US sanctions, providing Tehran with valuable foreign currency.
