Iran-Azerbaijan tensions rise over school hijab ban
Tensions between Tehran and Baku have risen after some schools in the Republic of Azerbaijan banned the hijab, DW Persian reported. Iran, which enforces mandatory hijab at home, has taken up the issue as a defense of hijab-wearing girls’ right to education.
