US sanctions two people and entity over Iran air defense support
The United States sanctioned two individuals and one entity accused of aiding Iran in sourcing man-portable air-defense systems, or MANPADS, according to a US statement cited by Middle East Eye. The statement said the measures close off channels Tehran uses to try to rebuild its arsenal and raise the risk for third-country brokers and suppliers.
