IRGC says plot foiled in Baluchistan as 13 troops reported killed
The IRGC's Quds base said it foiled what it called a "terrorist" operation in southern Sistan and Baluchestan and that it keeps armed teams under intelligence surveillance. Khabar Online reported that First Lieutenant Javad Heshmati of the army's 377 Mobile Assault Brigade was killed in an attack in the southeast. Radio Zamaneh reported that at least 13 military personnel were killed in the province over two days, including at least seven attached to Fatemiyoun.
