Iran judiciary denies death sentences for seven women
Iran's judiciary denied reports that death sentences had been issued for seven women, saying the claims did not match the case files. Khabar Online reported that three had received prison terms and other cases were still under review. Radio Zamaneh noted that the denial only said no "final death sentence" had been issued for some of the women and did not name them or give case details, leaving the matter unclear.
