Palestinian Tasnim reporter freed after 450 days in Israeli detention
Palestinian journalist Farah Abu Ayyash returned to her family on Thursday night after 450 days in Israeli detention, according to IRNA. Abu Ayyash, a West Bank correspondent for Iran's Tasnim News Agency, was released after the Ofer Prison military court dismissed the charges against her, IRNA reported. She had been held under administrative detention since her arrest in a raid on her home in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, on 6 August 2025; IRNA also reported alleged torture and mistreatment in custody.
