Iranian social affairs journalist Elnaz Mohammadi spent years before the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising reporting on women whose lives were shaped by violence, poverty and discrimination — from victims of child marriage to fisherwomen in southern Iran and families living with the aftermath of war, Radio Zamaneh reported. She tied individual stories to the structures of inequality behind them, showing that behind every news item, lives carry on largely out of public view.
