Tehran prosecutor seeks ban on men at women's football
Tehran's prosecutor, citing the presence of women spectators without mandatory hijab and what he called failure to observe religious standards, called for men to be barred from official women's football matches — including spectators, reporters and staff. The football league organization had already taken a similar step, drawing objections from women players and criticism that it limits their visibility.
