Iran judiciary chief holds rare meeting with new supreme leader
Iran's judiciary said on Saturday that its chief, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, held a rare meeting with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not appeared in public since being appointed earlier this year. The judiciary's Mizan Online website said they discussed securing public rights, combating corruption and pursuing compensation for what it called crimes by "American-Zionist criminals." Mojtaba succeeded his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in US-Israeli strikes and was reported injured in the same attack.
