Shuti drivers in Iran face fewer loads and unchanged risks
Iran's shuti drivers, who move goods outside official distribution channels, are earning less as war and a US naval blockade disrupt trade and inflation erodes their income, according to a Radio Zamaneh field report. Traffic police figures for the year to March 2026 recorded 358 shuti drivers killed and 513 injured in accidents.
