Iran leader's aide: Trump, Netanyahu threats show 'desperation'
Mohammed Mokhber, described by Middle East Eye as an adviser to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, said in a post on X that the "psychological warfare" and war threats from US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "betray desperation" rather than strength. He said Iran is aware of the enemy's vulnerabilities and that battlefield surprises, along with oil and energy leverage, could shift the balance of power. Iranian outlets IRNA and Khabar Online also carried his remarks.
