Araghchi: US-Israel ties 'parasitic'; Netanyahu eyes end to aid
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a post on X that the United States has spent $11 billion in taxpayer money over three years on missile defense for Israel and has fired more interceptors defending Israel than Israel itself, calling the relationship "parasitic" rather than symbiotic. The figure was not independently verified in the reports. Separately, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a Friday interview that Israel must prepare for the end of US military aid and build an economy able to circumvent sanctions, according to Donya-e-Eqtesad.
