Iran strikes PAK in Iraqi Kurdistan; Baghdad denies expulsion deal
Radio Zamaneh reported that Iran attacked positions of the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) in northeastern Erbil after Iran's ambassador to Baghdad claimed Iraq had agreed to expel or hand over Kurdish Iranian opposition groups. An Iraqi official rejected that claim, and Turkey's far-right MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli called for PJAK to be dissolved and disarmed.
